Dib

I don't know, but the text on this one sounds a little familiar to me... perhaps I saw it on another drawing... or maybe I'm in a time loop and I've done this before... I don't know. So, anyways, I did this drawing, and if someone else used the text before or something, it was an accident, and I'm not trying to copy anybody. Gosh, I'm so paranoid XD.

The Best... and the Worst

Hey folks! I'm back with another quirky video! Well, two... one's not funny though. Okay, so I've been reading "Robopocalypse" by Daniel H. Wilson (which is sort of like Terminator), and I have been thoroughly enjoying it. As a matter of fact, I only have about 40 pages left. But, that's beside the point. So, anyways, apparently there was a contest back in May to see who could make the best fanmade trailer (they ARE making a movie by the way... WOO HOO!). So, below I've posted the entry that won. Bear with me and just watch the video, 'cause I'm getting to the best part.

Pretty cool, right? Now, here's a little something that I happened to stumble upon while looking at other entries.

THAT'S what I was getting at! I honestly don't know if this video was made as a joke or what... it's sort of like something Weird Al Yankovic would do. Either way, it was the funniest thing that I'd seen all day, and it made me laugh my head off!

Tak

Yup. You guessed it. ANOTHER Invader Zim character!

Irken Tak.

Tak with her human disguise. The part of her hair sticking out furthest to the right looks a little to long to me... oh well.

Not bad considering that it's my first time drawing Tak. Oh, and I drew these in pencil, went over it in marker, then colored it using colored pencils instead of tracing it on the computer and coloring it. Maybe I'll do that another time.

DC Photos

Here are some photos that I took while I was on a trip in Washington DC earlier this year. I took them all with my iPod (you've probably figured out by now that my iPod is basically my camera), so the quality may not be the best. Oh, and I took WAY more pictures than this; maybe I'll post them later. but, for now, here are some of them.

One of my favorite pictures from the trip! It's of some statue that was in front of the Air & Space Smithsonian; I don't know the official name of it.

 The Vietnam Wall.

There was a really cool little army of headless statues. They look like aliens. :)

A super awesome spider sculpture (I can't remember the real name). I believe that there are several of these throughout the world.

 Another memorial for Vietnam.

 Korean War Memorial.

 Honest Abe.

 The Washington Memorial.
The World War II Memorial, which was absolutely beautiful! I wish that I could have gotten a better picture! You can see the Washington Memorial behind it.

The ceiling of the Capitol Building's rotunda.

The Capitol Building.

I took this one while I was on a dinner cruise.

Another picture from the dinner cruise. This one looks like it belongs in a brochure, if I do say so myself. XD

Gaz

Okay, for any of you wondering who the heck Gaz is, she's a character from Invader Zim. Anyways, I finally got around to tracing and coloring a picture that I posted earlier. I'll post the picture again, just as a refresher, and because I feel like it. And, since I'm the creator of this blog, I can do whatever I feel like! Mwahahahaha!!!

The original sketch.

Ta da! My favorite of the two end results!

The other end result. Though I like the other one better, this one still turned out pretty good in my opinion.

Sand Art

Yeah, yeah, I know, the title sounds REALLY boring, like something off of those commercials where they try to sell you moon sand or whatever. Bear with me. Okay, so today I went to the beach, went swimming, sat in the sun, all of that good stuff. And just for the heck of it, I just drew and wrote a bunch of stuff in the sand. So, yeah, here you go.

"Zero was here"... well, was there... whatever.

In case you can't read my terrible writing, it says "Stitchpunk Central"... yay! I know, I'm such a genius, finding such creative ways to advertise my blog!

Don't worry, I'm getting to the pictures, I just figured that if I was going to advertise for my blog, I might as well advertise for my favorite website, Soapy Waffles, as well. Go Soapy Waffles!

Just to kind of go with the whole Soapy Waffles thing, I made the symbol for the Irken Empire from "Invader Zim". Irkens unite!

For all of you Radiohead fans out there! For any of you who don't know the Radiohead logo, I've attached a picture of it below.

It's watching you...

Oh, and just a little fun fact; the beach that I went to was right next to a nuclear power plant! Well, not right next to (and no, the lake was not filled with radioactive sludge, or at least, not to my knowledge). Well, it wasn't right next to, it was maybe a few miles away, but you could still see it on the skyline. It was pretty cool looking, because the cooling tower looked as if it were sitting on top of the water on the horizon. I would have gotten a picture of it, but the cell phone that I was taking pictures with couldn't zoom in enough to get a shot of it.

Ha Ha Ha!

Okay, a while back, I got bored, so I made this with photoshop using some pictures from the films "Moon" and "District 9" (two of my favorites). If you've seen either/both of the films, you might get the joke. Otherwise, you'll probably just think that I"m crazy.
The caption below the title reads "The Sweetie Man's Back and He's Hungry"... again, something that you would have needed to watch District 9 to understand. At the bottom of the "poster" it says "A Film By Neill Blomkamp and Duncan Jones". Oh, and just a note; "District 9" belongs to Neill Blomkamp and "Moon" belongs to Duncan Jones, this is NOT a real film, I am not trying to steal any credit for anything, etcetera, etcetera, you get the point.

My Character

Okay, so this is a character from a book that I wrote. I've drawn and posted several pictures of her in at least two or three different posts. I got bored, and wanted to practice my Invader Zim style and my computer tracing/coloring, so, here she is!

Sketch.

Traced.

Colored.

Original demon form (yes, she's a demon). I believe that not that long ago, I posted my sketch of her as a demon, and the negative of the image.
