The Great Magician, Takiremi

I was curious what he would look like in his little outfit, there.

Over the next few months, I'll be trying to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator and such. However, as of yet, I have nothing, but when I do I'll post some stuff. Yeah. Yeah...

Anyways, on a totally unrelated note, the following may perhaps be the most hilarious picture that I have ever seen! Just saying. I found it somewhere while surfing Google, but I can't remember where. In other words, I didn't make it, and please, don't make ninja's drop from my ceiling tiles and beat me up!

The sad part is that I could see my pugs, Vinnie and Tia (especially Vinnie), doing something like this if they were able. The look on its face perfectly captures how Vinnie looks when he jumps up on the couch and knows that he has gotten away with it.

New ID's

I'll likely be adding onto this post in the future; I'm just quickly uploading the one picture now so that I can try something with another site.

Valentina Model Edit

Hey y'all!

I felt that poor Valentina deserved a model edit; after all, the last picture Ihad of her was done when Ifirst started to really get into this whole cartooning thing, so it's pretty old. Here's the new model.

The old model.

Got the Earth on a String

This picture is very Invader Zim-esque, and sort of paints Sakia as the archetypal alien conquistador, which is essentially the exact opposite of her personality, but, whatever...

Sakia the Defender Collage Thing

Some collage thingy-ma-jigger that I made.

P.S: Today marks the 72nd birthday of the fictional character Walter Joseph Kovacs/Rorschach. Happy birthday Rorschach! Enjoy your beans and sugar cubes (a reference no one would understand unless they had read the novel Watchmen as well)!

Takiremi the Magician

Takir - con-artist/magician. I should totally design him a magician's costume! Perhaps another time...

I'm still in a Watchmen mood, and am continuing to work on my lighting and shading, so there you go, another gloomy nighttime city panorama!

Icarus Free Fall

Hello everyone! Perhaps you remember Icarus/Etha Fidalgo.

Anyways, this picture was Watchmen inspired. Also, I did this drawing in a different style than my own; I don't know what style this would be considered, but yeah, it deviates from what I generally do. I'm just going to shut up now and show you the picture...

Her hair isn't really purple and brown; it's just the lighting. This is her color scheme without any of the odd highlights:

Here are  a few songs which I associate with the picture. Of course, I discovered them all through the film adaptation of Watchmen. XD

"Pruitt Igoe"
Philip Glass
(Note: The theme starts about two minutes and thirty seconds in.)

"The Beginning is the End is the Beginning"
Smashing Pumpkins

"Just Look Around You"
Tyler Bates

Watchmen Fan Art

Yeah. If you can't tell already, I'm currently reading Watchmen and loving it.

I was especially proud of the smiley face and the blood; it's harder to draw than it looks.

1 Year Anniversary!!!

Hello again everyone! 366 (because of the Leap Year) days ago from today, I made my first blogpost on this site. Jeeze, I can't believe that it's already been one year of my insane ramblings and weird drawings! So, to celebrate the occasion, I put together this little video of all the pictures and stuff that I have posted (well, not quite all of them, there's been a lot). I tried to keep the pictures in the general order of which they were posted, starting with my sub-par beginning drawings, and ending with my better new drawings. Happy Anniversary, and enjoy the video!

-Zero

The song used was "Undertow" by Warpaint.

And yes, I actually uploaded this from my YouTube account.

I think the transitions to one of my pictures of Yixillian was a heart... oops. I hit the wrong stupid button! Oh well...

The Pandora Project: Division Sicarius

Hi again everyone! Here's a little fact sheet that I made about shape shifting assassins! Have fun!

Transcript:

The Pandora Project: Division Sicarius

A branch of the ancient Pandora Project which is closely related with the Qi Government Genetic Research Facility. This obscure division is unknown by many, and for good reason; those who pry enough to find out about it don’t last long.
The branch was established so that Qi politicians could use legally “nonexistent” life forms to kill off their enemies and stay in power. Doctors in affiliation with the Genetic Research Facility would kidnap young members of similar “planted” species (species which have been grown on other planets by the Qi), most commonly human females, and manipulate their DNA; in doing so, they activate the ability of the subject(s) to turn on and off certain genes, therefore being able to shift between different forms. From then on, the subjects are abused and conditioned to survive harsh circumstances, creating the ideal psychopathic soldier, brainwashed to be loyal to their Qi masters.
The current leader of the Sicarius division of Project Pandora is Miranda Yakmaninov, a cold-hearted Human-Shape shifter hybrid. Current notable assassins affiliated with Division Sicarius are Yixillian Mare, Lin Laos, and Archibald Van Haggen. The most famous past member is arguably Sandrin Kit Prentice, a current lawyer on the planet of Wivalet (though many do not know of her history; she has done an excellent job covering it up).

Icarus Reach

Hi again everyone! Happy 1st of March!

This character's name is Etha Emeril Fidalgo, but she just goes by Icarus. As of yet, she has no relation to the world of Sakia the Defender.

By the way, I don't know what she is reaching for.

Oh, and I also don't know why my past four pictures I have posted here have all been left-side oriented... hmmm...
